Industrial work moved matter, and information work moved bits. This age closes the loop in the firm itself: a person still owns it, software can run it, and both still need power and credit. Some companies already look like that. Many still bill by the hour.
Who buys
Some buyers purchase the company and keep the customers. Some purchase the product and take the customers with it. Cash private equity still pays for earnings at a price. Send the wrong buyer the wrong company and the process dies.
Power and compute
A shop that software can already run is not the same company as a contractor who can bid a data center. Both are in this field. Private credit has moved to larger checks. A data center still needs power contracted by a date.
